SCARCE Tiffin Carrara Coral Console Bowl Orange Slag Glass 1920s Art Nouveau
$73.51 $44.10
This beautiful Art Nouveau console bowl from Tiffin / United States Glass Company is a scarce example from its Carrara line of opaque slag glass:
– Coral color, with swirls of salmon & golden orange
– Round with wide lip & ribbed base
– Based on my online research of similar pieces at the Tiffin Glass Museum in Ohio, production estimated ca. 1922
– Approx. 9” diameter at rim (approx. 3 1/2” diameter bowl/base) x 2 7/8” tall
– In overall good antique, used shape with no significant damage, repairs or staining that affect its function or aesthetic; there are two minor flaws (see closeup photos): (1) a slight divet at the mold seam on the base rim & (2) a small separation line directly next to it.
– But please enlarge & examine all photos as item’s best representations to determine design, size, color (the appearance of which can vary by monitor/screen & lighting) & condition by your standards & ask any questions you may have prior to purchase
Thank you!
