Vintage Swedish Pewter Pendant! 50s/60s!

Vintage Rune Tennesmed Swedish Pewter Pendant necklace! 1950s/1960s. One of many cool abstract, floral designs he did in the 50s-60s. The pendant is on the original chunky curb link chain it came with. Very pretty & quite unique. Highly collectible!

Rune Tennesmed (1929-2011). His pieces overseas have skyrocketed in value since his death! The U.S. is slowly catching on & learning about his work.

FUN FACT: appx 1 out of every 4 Sweds owns a piece of his jewelry! Rune’s last name was originally Caarlson; when he began making jewelry, he changed it to Tennesmed, which literally translates to “pewter smith” in Swedish!
